Akaoma is an award winner of 100 Top Global Women in Leadership Award 2022,50 Top African Women in Development, an author, Akaoma is a member of the prestigious John Maxwell Leadership team that builds leaders globally, a member of Rotary International. She holds Masters’ degrees from University of Lagos Nigeria. An alumnus of Harvard University School of Public Health Boston. She consults for leading organizations including UN systems, Foundations, INGOs and Governments and have advised governments of low and middle-income countries. Extensive experience with traditional and non-traditional funders such as USAID, FCDO, GAC, EU, Global fund, ECHO, United Nations Agencies (World Bank, UNICEF, World Health Organizations, International Office of Migration) and Bill & Melinda Gates foundation.”
