Bob Kemp

Bob has been a member of the Rotary Club of Denver Mile High (D5450, Colorado, USA) since 2012. He is a retired Petroleum Geologist by trade. Since becoming a Rotarian, Bob has served in a variety of capacities at the Club, District and Zone levels. He has been President of his Club (2015-16) and served as District Governor during the 2020-21 Rotary Year. He has been a training facilitator at the Zone 26/27 Institute as well as for the High Country PETS Conference. He currently serves as the District 5450 International Service Chair (DISC). Bob initially joined Rotary in order to explore his interest in International Service work. He has been involved in Rotary Global Grant projects in India, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Brazil and Nicaragua. Bob enjoys international travel generally and motorcycle touring in particular. He has participated in Rotary sponsored motorcycle tours in Karnataka, India as well as in Egypt. Travel to malaria prone areas of the world has encouraged Bob to apply Rotary expertise gained in the fight to eradicate Polio to the battle to eliminate Malaria.
