Howie is a semi-retired Accountant in his own Private Practice. Semi-retired meaning he tries not to work a full day, but picks his hours around scheduling appointments with clients. Howie has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major), both from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He worked with the Federal Government, State Government and Govt Statutory Authorities in his early career before venturing into Private practice in 1995.
In Rotary, Howie is a Past President and Past Treasurer with the Rotary Club of North Hobart in Tasmania and has also been the Director of International Service for the past three years.
Howie is married to Lina and they have 3 children and he also has 4 children from a former marriage.
