Marion Natukunda

With a background in public administration and communications, I’ve dedicated myself to advocating for global health and humanitarian causes, particularly focusing on combating malaria, improving WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and enhancing healthcare access in underserved communities. My journey began with firsthand experiences of malaria’s devastating impact, driving me to join Rotarians Against Malaria Global. Through this platform, I’ve been instrumental in raising awareness, mobilizing resources, and implementing strategic initiatives to combat the disease worldwide. Prior to my involvement with Rotarians, I serve as a Communication and Advocacy Specialist at Uganda’s Ministry of Health. Here, I collaborated with government agencies, NGOs, and international partners to develop and execute communication strategies aimed at promoting health education, disease prevention, and healthcare access. My approach emphasizes collaboration, community engagement, and evidence-based practices in public health. Through leadership and dedication, I strive to be a catalyst in the fight against malaria, tirelessly working towards its eradication and better health outcomes for all.
