On March 13, 2023, while visiting the Kenyan community of Alego Usanga, Dr. Dan Perlman had the humbling opportunity to listen to and record an impassioned speech by one of the local “CHV” or Community Health Volunteers. She did not provide her name, but she skillfully and emotionally got her points across to us.
