The Drake Zimmerman Malaria Grant for a Malaria Prevention Campaign

This World Malaria Day 2022 Grant celebrates RAM-Global Chair Drake Zimmerman’s award of Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award for his nearly 30 years of work on Malaria. In May 2022 this grant was Awarded to RC Trans-Amadi D9141 (Nigeria) to fund a local Malaria Prevention Campaign. The funds were put to good use and involved the following: training and educating community health workers and volunteers, testing and educating the community, over 3000 nets distributed to the community and 500 homes sprayed with insecticide For more information and the full report with photos please see the Project Report.
